Farmer's Almanac Weather for 2006 (from Gigi)
I was looking at our wedding dates on the blog this morning, and realized that the Farmer's almanac, extremely-good-for-freaking-out-about-things-we-can't-controll weather information didn't get it's own post, and I think it deserves one.
Many thanks to Gigi for sharing!!

Ok, so with my date being 3/4, you all should stay tuned for my post on snow/rain related wedding accessories!! :)
So I'm getting married on October 8. According to the FA:
Oct. 1-7 Sunny, warm.
Oct. 8-11 Rain, then sunny, cool.
So I interpret this as "it's going to be sunny and warm the week before your wedding, and sunny and cool the week after your wedding, but it's going to rain on the day OF your wedding."
Argh.
Yay I get "sunny with cool nights" (6/10). Does anyone know how accurate the almanac has been over the years?
I'm going to remain calm but here's a preemptive "woohoo!" for "sunny, warm" on October 1st.
Still, though. ZEN. I Will Not Obsess.
